Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation (GMC) is planning to develop 4.5km long roads along the metro corridor with varying RoW of 80m, 40m and 24m in Gandhinagar. This green field development will form an important access to GIFT city. It starts from Koba circle and moves along the metro corridor and ends at Pancheshwar junction. The redevelopment includes complete development of roads, bridge, footpaths, cycle tracks, street furniture, signages and decorative lighting and trunk utilities like storm water, drainage and water line, dry utilities amenities along with multimodal integration of three metro stations.

The project scope includes the creation of an alternative access corridor to GIFT City, specifically designed to facilitate VIP movement and enhance connectivity. It also focuses on the multimodal integration of metro stations to ensure seamless transitions between different modes of transport. A key aspect of the project is the provision of safe infrastructure for non-motorized transport (NMT), promoting walkability and cycling. In addition, the street is envisioned as an active public space, enlivened with a variety of activities. Overall, the project aims to deliver a high-quality urban experience for both visitors and residents.
