Planning and Development Authority, Dadra, and Nagar Haveli district, initiated the project for preparing the City Beautification Master Plan for Silvassa town and region. The project envisages upgradation of streets to enhance mobility and accessibility in the area. The first phase focuses on preparing the district master plan with proposals for complete streets, public spaces comprising waterfronts, gardens, recreational nodes in the city, and forest trails at the district level. The second phase of the project focuses on preparing detailed street design for Silvassa city and the region. An 18km stretch was identified passing through the city centre, museum, children-park, and public gardens.
