Bhuj Nagarpalika initiated a proposal for introducing bus services in Bhuj with the objective to provide mobility options to its citizens.

The Urban Lab has been engaged by Bhuj Nagarpalika to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for funding under the Chief Minister’s Urban Bus Service Scheme. Currently, Bhuj does not have a bus service and its citizens are dependent on shared auto rickshaws and personal vehicles. The Urban Lab conducted site surveys and stakeholder consultations and prepared a service operation plan along with an estimate of the viability gap funding required under the state government scheme.
