Corporate road in Ahmedabad is a sub-arterial road with mixed land use along the edges. The road was repeatedly excavated over the past 5 years to lay different services. The street is being used for parking and street vending activity along the mixed building use.

The Urban Lab worked with partners to prepare design alternatives that would maximise efficiency in management of street activities. The design is based on a process of existing activity and traffic assessment. It intends to enhance the commercial character of the street. The objective of the exercise was to generate stakeholder consensus in implementation of the street improvement plan.
