The Urban Mobility India (UMI)

In the 10th UMI conference that was held in Hyderabad International Convention Centre on 4th, 5th and 6th of November 2017, two of our team members and CEPT alumnis, Anuja Kothawala and Anna Mariya Lukose, along with their guide and founder of TUL, Prof. Abhijit Lokre, presented their papers which were shortlisted.

Anuja presented her MURP dissertation project guided by Prof. Abhijit, titled, 'A critical evaluation of National Urban Transport Policy (NUTP)'. She won second prize for the research poster presentation. Anna presented her B.Plan dissertation project titled, 'Planning the transit interchange zones'.

The 10th Urban Mobility Conference (UMI) is an annual event with the theme of urban mobility. The objective of UMI is to bring together urban transport professionals and officials in the country as well as international experts to enable them to share views and to share their experiences through interactions, discussions around case studies and to carry home ideas to develop their urban transport along a sustainable path.
